Rajendra Rai
Rajendra Rai, raised in the foothills of eastern Nepal below the mighty flanks of Mt. Makalu and Mt. Kanchenjunga, attended his local Himalaya Secondary School then studied at Hattisar Science College in the Sunsari District in eastern Nepal. He completed numerous guide training courses and first aid workshops with the Nepal Tourism Board to gain his trekking credentials, and since 1990, he has worked continually as a professional guide. He loves the life of a trek leader and has extensive experience on the trails of the Everest and Annapurna regions as well as in the more remote Manaslu and Langtang regions, along with his home region of Makalu. He has a wide range of knowledge about many cultures of Nepal.
