Tanya Perret, born in Bath, England, has had a passion for the mountains for as long as she can remember. A keen mountaineer, she has climbed both Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn and holds British Association of International Mountain Leader guiding qualifications. For the past 15 years, Tanya has led hiking trips in the European Alps as well as in Nepal. When not leading trips, she lectures in Tourism and Outdoor Education. The beauty of the Alps made such an impression on her that she ended up buying a small property in the mountain village of Chatel, France, where she enjoys skiing and hiking adventures with her family.
