Tanya Perret has had a passion for the mountains for as long as she can remember. Since 1997, she has led more than 100 hiking trips in the European Alps and Nepal. She has also ascended both Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn and holds the British Association of International Mountain Leader guiding qualifications. Originally from Bath, England, Tanya fell in love with the Alps—buying a beautiful old house that dates back to 1746 in Vallee Brevon, France, sharing her time between there and Nepal. One of her favorite trips is the Tour du Mont Blanc, saying, “At the end of the trip, all of the clients had become firm friends.” Tanya is also a Yoga teacher and holds a Masters Degree in Rural Development. When not leading trips, she enjoys skiing and hiking adventures with her family. Tanya is conversant in French and Nepalese.
