Rusty Owen

Rusty Owen holds a 100-ton USCG license and has 32 years of Alaska piloting experience. With a degree in geology from the University of Oregon at Eugene, he has led small-ship kayaking journeys in Glacier Bay for many years and is an excellent naturalist with a thorough knowledge of Alaska’s geography, early peoples, natural history, geology, flora and fauna. Rusty is also a great storyteller and musician who makes the journey an unforgettable learning adventure.
