Richard Munro
Richard Munro, born and raised in the English Lake District, developed his passion for the local hills and mountains at an early age. While attending the University of Lancaster, he was an active member of the climbing and caving club and later taught mountaineering, canoeing, and mountain navigation. Rich has been a key member of trip leading teams in both Europe and Asia since 1990, and helped us design our Provence and Dordogne walking trips. When not guiding for Wilderness Travel, he lives in his beloved Lake District, spending his time hiking the trails as well as road and mountain biking.
