Godfrey Mbise is a Meru tribesman from the southern slopes of Tanzania’s Mt. Meru. Born into a family that encouraged education and travel, he is now in his second decade of safari guiding. All the while, he has maintained his underlying concern for local communities that he works with, helping to forge increased community awareness that has resulted in scholarships and the building of local schools.
