Bhuwan KC

With over 20 years of experience leading over 100 treks in the Annapurna region, Bhuwan KC is extremely knowledgeable of the culture, religion, environment and history of Nepal. In 2006 he was awarded the Paul Morrison Wanderlust Guide award, which he received from the National Geographic Society in London - picked amongst a short list of 70 guides spanning the globe. Bhuwan grew up in the southwest foothills of Pokhara, began as a porter, and worked his way up the ranks to become a Sardar. He is known in the Himalayas as one of the most competent and personable mountain guides, and is considered by his peers and clients alike, a true 'star.'
