Noah Katcha
Noah Katcha was born in 1969 in Lomé, Togo's capital. He completed secondary school in Ivory Coast, earning a Baccalaureate in Biology and beginning his interest in the study of West Africa's many cultures. Noah returned home to Lome to attend the University of Lome, graduating in 2000 with studies in Economics and English. Since that time, he has studied African culture and traditions extensively and led numerous travel groups from Europe and the US on journeys throughout Ghana, Benin, Burkina Faso, and Mali. Noah was an assistant on a National Geographic and NPR expedition to Taudenni and has worked with TV documentary crews from Australia. He continues to study and learn about West African traditions. "My aim is to continuously research these cultures and share that knowledge with trip members so that they can gain a fuller understanding of Africa." Noah lives in Lomé with his wife and daughter.
