Dr. Helen Ibbitson Jessup

Dr. Helen Ibbitson Jessup is a scholar and curator specializing in the art and architecture of Southeast Asia. She holds a PhD from the Courtauld Institute of Art, London University, and is currently an Associate Fellow of Saybrook College, Yale University. Dr. Jessup co-curated Sculpture of Angkor and Ancient Cambodia: Millennium of Glory, an important exhibition that toured internationally, and Court Arts of Indonesia, which toured four venues in the US in conjunction with the 1990 Festival of Indonesia. She is the founder and President of Friends of Khmer Culture, and the author of several books, including Temples of Cambodia: The Heart of Angkor, Art and Architecture of Cambodia, and Court Arts of Indonesia.
