Thom Hogan
Thom Hogan has been teaching photography since leaving Backpacker magazine in 2000, where he was the editor. Formally trained as a filmmaker, Thom taught film and television courses at Indiana University, and has developed coursework in many of the visual arts. While primarily known as a writer and instructor, his imagery has appeared in a number of magazines, including Backpacker, Outdoor Photography, and Digital Foto. He currently lives in Emmaus, Pennsylvania.
