Dan Heller

Dan Heller is a freelance travel photographer from Marin County, California. His photo experiences have taken him around the world and his images can be found in the pages of many Wilderness Travel catalogs as well as travel magazines and coffee table books. He also sells his work through exhibitions and venues from KQED (San Francisco's PBS station) to Harvard University. As a teacher, his tutorials and essays have been published in magazines such as Popular Photography, Photo Techniques, and Photo Life, and his material is often used in photography classes around the country. He has an extensive knowledge of the photographic industry and its business and artistic aspects and his workshops are appropriate for professionals and amateurs alike. Dan has been on many more than 20 Wilderness Travel trips as a photographer and has led Photo Expeditions for us in the Galapagos, the Greek Islands, and Morocco.
