Peter Goddard

Peter Goddard was born in London but moved to the Lake District 15 years ago. He has been hiking and backpacking for over 30 years throughout Scotland and the English Lake District, as well as Wales, France, and Austria. He has also hiked Scotland's own coast-to-coast trail over 20 times(!) and has hiked the length of the John Muir Trail in California's Sierra Nevada mountains. Along with hiking, Peter loves canoe tripping and mountain biking, accompanied by his wife, Avril, and their springer spaniel, Spice. Peter has been part of our United Kingdom team for several years, and his greatest delight is sharing his country with like-minded traveling companions.
