Temuujin Dashdejid
Temuujin Dashdejid, a native of Mongolia, has been guiding for Wilderness Travel since 2008 and was instrumental in scouting and developing the Altai trek itinerary for us. As a Trip Leader, he feels he has a great opportunity to introduce travelers to his country's history, nomadic culture, and beautiful scenery, thereby promoting a better understanding of the country and its people. His passions include a love of nature and a deep interest in the cultural traditions of the remote Altai region. A graduate of Moscow's prestigious University of Management, Temuujin's guiding experience includes leading the Prime Minister of Mongolia on a hiking trip in the Khentii Mountains, as well as working on an internationally acclaimed documentary film. In addition to his native language, Temuujin speaks English, Russian, and a little Japanese.
