Ingrid Crossland is a global wanderer whose life has been shaped by travel, mountains, and rock climbing. During the 1990s, following a number of mountaineering and climbing expeditions in Asia and Africa, she changed paths from a business career to leading treks, making the outdoors and mountains her office. Ingrid’s guiding repertoire includes trips in Tibet and Sri Lanka, leading ascents of peaks such as Stok Kangri (Ladakh), Peak Lenin (Kyrgyzstan) and Mt. Mera (Nepal). Ingrid has a number of places she gravitates to around the world. When in Europe she can often be found scaling the conglomerate pinnacles of Montserrat, near Barcelona in Spain, and she has climbed and skied in most parts of Europe including the French, Swiss, and Italian Alps and the Spanish Pyrenees. “I love the perspective I get when among mountains, wilderness, nature, space and under big skies; life to me is about being in the moment and connecting with all that is around me. I believe one of the most important things is to inspire and learn alongside the clients and colleagues I work with.” Ingrid is also a yoga teacher, massage therapist, and physical therapist.
