Yasser Abdel Wahab

Yasser Abdel Wahab is from Cairo, where he lives with his wife and two daughters. He studied at Cairo's Helwan University's Faculty of Tourism, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Guiding and Egyptology. He began his guiding career in 1988. Yasser enjoys representing his county and sharing the mysteries and monuments of Egypt with visitors. His favorite site to bring guests is the great Nile-side temple at Abu Simbel, which he calls "a phenomenon of architecture, engineering, astronomy, and geology all in one." Yasser also finds the Great Pyramid of Cheops a special place because it has so many facets and parts to it that still need study. When not guiding, he enjoys music, bridge, backgammon, and spending time with his family.
