Itinerary-in-Brief

Days 1-3
Perinet Special Reserve

From Antanarivo, the capital, head to the montane forests of Perinet, home to black-and-white "singing" lemurs.

Days 4-5
Maroantsetra

Visit Duke University's Primate Center then explore by boat in the deep rainforests of Maroantsetra, with a day on the island of Nosy Mangabe.

Days 7-9
Berenty Private Reserve

Famed for its lemurs, from friendly ring-tails to superbly acrobatic sifakas, this beautiful reserve also has Flying foxes, huge multi-colored chameleons, and radiated tortoises, along with fantastic birdlife.

Day 9
Depart via Antanarivo
