Itinerary-in-Brief

Day 1
Venice to Cortina

Overnight in charming Cortina, a mountain resort surrounded by the peaks of the Dolomites.

Day 2
Via Ferrata

Your private guide introduces you to the Via Ferrata ("Iron Way"), a system of steel ladders and fixed cables originally built during World War I to help alpine troops move through these beautiful mountains. Today the Via Ferrata system allows fit hikers to ascend safely to extraordinary alpine realms normally reserved for rock climbers.

Days 3-5
High Mountain Routes

Climb among soaring granite towers, sheer rock faces, and serene glacial lakes, choosing routes as challenging or moderate as you like, always with your guide. One overnight is in a spectacular mountain rifugio perched on a knife-edged ridge.

Days 6-7
Venice

Afternoon drive to Venice, depart on Day 7.
