Itinerary-in-Brief

Days 1-8
By Private Yacht in Darwin’s Islands

The magical Galápagos Islands are truly “a world unto themselves,” as Darwin wrote, and among the most precious habitats on earth. One of the wonders of these islands is how unafraid of humans Galápagos wildlife is—you can walk right among these gentle creatures and snorkel with friendly sea lions and tiny penguins. Your 8-day island itinerary varies depending on the yacht, but typically features spectacular Española, where you hike among nesting blue-footed boobies and lava lizards, Bartolome, with its amazing panoramic views, and Santa Cruz, home of the Charles Darwin Research Station. Day 8 return to Quito and depart.
